Our Knoxville-based digitizing capabilities go beyond photo scanning services. Most of us have other special printed materials that we’d like to preserve and share. Think family recipes, letters, ancestry documents and children’s artwork. Print materials are professionally scanned and converted to quality JPG files and therefore viewed on digital devices. They are stored in a digital environment and subsequently can be easily shared. Expertise and care go into each individual photograph, image and print scanning project. Our archiving specialists have been safely preserving printed memories for decades in our Knoxville, Tennessee facility.
Printed memories are more vulnerable than we like to think. A basement flood, a house fire, a burst pipe in winter — any of these can erase decades of family history in an instant. Unlike furniture or appliances, those faded photos of your grandparents, your kids' first drawings, and handwritten letters from people you've lost cannot be replaced at any price. Digitizing your irreplaceable materials means that no matter what happens to the originals, your family's story survives.
We specialize in digitizing flat prints and two-dimensional printed items, memorabilia and just about anything that can fit in a scanner.
Once digitized, your files are delivered in the format that works best for your storage and accessibility needs:
From digitizing a single photograph to professionally converting an entire generation of family photographs, we've seen it all. Work with one of our archiving consultants to outline solutions that fit your needs.
Begin by selecting and sorting the prints that you'd like preserved. Gather them from albums, boxes, drawers and relatives first.
We can digitize nearly any size print up to 12x18 and sometimes larger. Framed or mounted prints can also be scanned."
We recommend a USB drive for each family member. In addition, we suggest backing up your files with a trusted cloud service for long term storage.
When bringing in loose prints, please remove any staples, tape, and paperclips.
All prints are scanned with high-resolution scanning equipment in our Knoxville production facility.
Your one-of-a-kind printed family history deserves to be preserved for future generations to enjoy.
Using a trusted local expert is the safest way to digitize home movies & photos. All digitizing services are completed inside our Knoxville, TN facility — so your irreplaceable materials never leave our hands.
